If he is still around, today is his birthday. He was born on 16 December 1925. Andif he's still here, he will be 85 years old. Quite old to be my Abah rite??
I was born when he was 55 years old, the same year he retired as a teacher. Mak pulak was 44 back then. Memang lots of different if compared to my schoolmates' parents yang way younger than them.
But, I'm so proud of them coz I have all the attention's that I need during that time while my friends' parents still have to work etc etc.
He was really proud coz he was the same age as Tun Mahathir. And I always used the reason, Tun still sihat, Abah mesti sihat to calm myself that I still have more time with him but I was wrong, :(
Back to 2005, he insisted me to get married as soon as possible. So, I pun ikut je la eventho that time still belajar tak abis, duit nak kawin pun takde. But, luckily, I fullfilled his request. He passed away on 26th May 2005.
He was the happiest man during my wedding day. Sampai nk amik gambar family pon dia taknak... coz bz melayan kawan2 dia yg datang. Tu rupanya petanda dia nk pergi on the same year.
To Abah, Happy birthday. Abah dah tambah dua cucu tau. Faruq dgn Farissa. Kalau Abah ade, mesti Abah org paling gembira tgk cucu2 Abah tu. Mesti Abah akan bagi nickname utk diorg mcm Abah bagi kt cucu2 Abah yg lain. And mesti Abah org yg paling kuat mengusik diorg.
Adek rindu Abah dgn Mak sangat2. :( Al-fatihah. Semoga roh Abah dan Mak dicucuri rahmat. Amin.
