What a week!

Hello beautiful, how's life last week? Mine was oh-so hectic.. Let me recall it..

Monday - Both F&F were recovering from fever+flu+cough. Faruq will be having a monthly test for the first time on the next day.

Tuesday-Thursday - Picked them up as usual from babysitter's house. Farissa still got fever. So I just asked hubs to take her to paed while I prepared Faruq for the test and forced him to sleep early. But, too bad, her temp was 39degrees, and the paed had no choice to poke a needle to get the medicine inside her quickly because she wasn't just having the normal fever, but also infection in her lungs due to prolong flu+cough. And then, kena la rushed her to CA hospital and warded. That nite was horrible, hubs stayed in hospital with her, while me with Faruq coz esoknya dah start his first exam. I couldn't sleep whole night. Tidur-tidur ayam je. Woke up at 6am, and prepared Faruq to school. As he got in the bus, I cepat2 kemas all stuffs to hospital. Toys to fill up her time, clothes, biscuits, etc to keep her calm.

Boy it wasn't easy to take good care in her room. For the first 2 nights, she needed to be isolated coz takut berjangkit kuman. And then transferred to normal single room. She was all cranky especially during the neb sessions. Sampai ade satu time tu, the needle poked in her hand tertanggal and her blood was all over.

Not only that, she wanted to walk all around the hospital every 5-10 minutes. Kena layankan. Sampai satu tahap tu, mak dia pon dah cranky. I just shouted to the nurses and all. They all nie buat kerja sambil lewa especially the night shift. Suka hati je suh I handle sorg2 during neb session. Dah la time tu Farissa for sure meronta2 tak ingat dunia.

Friday - The early morning, when the paed datang check Farissa, I chanted "nak balik" to the paed sampai one time dia cakap.. ok la can but only after the evening neb session. Ada hati lagi dia nk cucuk balik the needle to get the antibiotics in. I cakap, why not we just give her orally?

I saw her so stressed out and traumatised. Sampai dia dah taknak makan minum semua. That's why I cakap takpe la doctor, I sanggup bawak dia to ur clinic for the neb sessions. Lastly, he agreed, coz no more fever tinggal nk kena clearkan phlegm in her chest tu. And nak tunggu the hospital settled the bills with insurance company tu satu hal berjam2. Sengal betul la!

On the way to the car, Farissa refused to walk. So I need to carry her with 2 bags full with her stuffs. We left just like that without saying a word to the nurses. Dah naik menyampah kot. Ye la.. no matter how fancy the hospital is, nothing beats our home. Right?

Petang tu, I rehat sekejap, then bersiap2 to Office Dinner plak. Dah rsvp, sayang plak, and hubs kata pergi je la...coz last week dia dah attend his office dinner..Niat nk shopping accessories/dress for dinner pun terbantut sebab Farissa sakit. So, I just recycle whatever in my wardrobe. Sape nk tgk pun..

The aim for the dinner to let us distress ourselves.. Project basis ni memang stress to the max lah. Memang enjoy pun. Ada dayang nurfaizah, along/angah raja lawak and the karaoke contest. Best la. I did not enjoy the food so much sebab penat kot.

And the dinner was all worth it. I won another camera for the lucky draw! Yeay!! Thanks HTP :)
Will post out the dinner pics in the next entry erm maybe tomorrow kot..
